Certificate of Results for Run-Off Election

I, the undersigned Robin Pachanos, Chief Electoral Officer for the Cree Nation Government, do hereby certify the following results in respect of the election for the Office of Grand Chief/Chairperson.

Total number of ballots cast: 4899

In accordance with Article 26 of an Act Respecting the Cree Nation Government, R.S.Q. c. G-1.031 which specifies that the Grand Chief/Chairperson must be elected by an absolute majority vote (fifty percent + one), and in accordance with the results of the Election of July 29, 2021, hereto,

Mandy Gull-Masty has secured 3120 or 64% of the valid votes cast on the run-off Election of July 29, 2021;

Therefore, pending any requests for a review of the standings and process, which must be received within a period of five (5) days, I hereby declare that based on the Results of the elections of July 29, 2021, in my capacity as Chief Electoral Officer of the Cree Nation Government Mandy Gull-Masty elected as Grand Chief/Chairperson of the Grand Council of the Crees (Eeyou Istchee) and Cree Nation Government for a term of Four (4) Years.

And I have given this notice in Chisasibi on this 30th day of July 2021.

TO ALL CREE BENEFICIARIES OF EEYOU ISTCHEE

I, the undersigned Robin Pachanos, Chief Electoral Officer for the Cree Nation Government, do hereby certify the following results in respect of the election for the Office of Deputy Grand Chief/Vice-Chairperson.

Total number of ballots cast: 4933

In accordance with Article 26 of an Act Respecting the Cree Nation Government, R.S.Q. c. G-1.031, which specifies that the Deputy Grand Chief /Vice-Chairperson must be elected by an absolute majority vote (fifty percent + one), and in accordance with the results of the Election of July 29, 2021 hereto,

Norman A. Wapachee has secured 2935 or 59% of the valid votes cast on the run-off Election of July 29, 2021;

Therefore, pending any requests for a review of the standings and process, which must be received within a period of five (5) days, I hereby declare that based on the Results of the elections of July 29, 2021, in my capacity as Chief Electoral Officer of the Cree Nation Government, Norman A. Wapachee elected as Deputy Grand Chief/Vice-Chairperson of the Grand Council of the Crees (Eeyou Istchee) and Cree Nation Government for a term of Four (4) Years.

And I have given this notice in Chisasibi on this 30th day of July 2021
