Public Hearing: Hybrid Power Plant Project 2022

Organized by the Department of Environmental and Remedial Works 

The provincial government is preparing to hold a consultation on the environmental and social impact assessment for the Hybrid Power Plant Project by Kuujjuaraapik-Whapmagoostui Renewable Energy Corporation (KWREC). Given the obstacles posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and recognizing the risk posed by holding public gatherings during these difficult times, the consultations will be held in a hybrid format (mix of in-person and virtually):
